Pinwheels

½ cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Peanut Butter
1 Egg
2 tbsp. Milk
1 ¼ cup Flour
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Soda
6 oz. Chocolate Chips

Cream shortening and sugar, then beat in peanut butter, egg, and milk. Sift together flour, salt, and soda; and stir into creamed mixture. Place dough, half at a time on lightly floured waxed paper. Roll out into a rectangle. Melt chocolate chips, and spread onto peanut butter mixture. Roll up jellyroll style, and chill for at least two hours. Slice and bake at 375º for 15 minutes.
