To Freeze Pumpkin

 

Wash, cut in half, remove seeds and strings.  Cut into sections about 3 inches wide.

Place, cut side down, in a covered baking pan and bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Turn and bake 45 to 50 minutes more.  Remove the rind and mash the pumpkin until it is smooth.  Place in containers and freeze.
